I'm going to try hard to put a pool in next spring. It's something Steve and I had always planned on putting in; we even had plans drawn up in 2006. When he died in 2007, I figured it would never be an option but I think with some creativity, lots of garage sales and a little luck, we can break ground next April.
My neighbors had this pool company put their pool in back in 2007 and I had him come out yesterday to take some measaurements and give me a plan... It came this morning and I love it! They're all the same pool, just different views.
My three requirements are a pebble-tec interior, in-ground cooler and a rock waterfall. I want holes for umbrellas and a volley-ball net and I'd like a large entry step so that you can sit in a chair without having to go in... Because I had the yard landscaped last year, there are certain things we need to move around, like a large tree I had planted to give some privacy between my upstairs balcony and that of the neighbors. He did a good job of including things like the shed, my existing slab/balcony, winding walkway, etc. Anyway -- I'm excited to see the options and take advantage of the lowest prices in years!
