In about 16 hours, Elliana Sharon will enter the world for the first time and I can think of little else tonight... This is Jen's second baby - Frankie being the first -- and I'm so excited!
Bear and I had a good weekend... Yesterday, Bear len went to Sylvan in the morning and then to run some errands... Bear's babysitter showed up about 5:30 pm, right after their pizza arrived and I headed to Ernie's Tap House, a small bar and grill in Fountain Hills, about 45 minutes away. My boss along with 2 co-workers and the husband of a co-worker are in a band and they played last night. There was a huge contingent from work and it really was a good time. Felt so good to get out.
This morning, we had planned on going to church but just didn't make it... Instead, we drove to Tempe to meet Sandra for lunch. We went to the neatest place -- the Rainforest Cafe -- and Bear was intrigued by the moving elephants, swinging monkeys and many saltwater fish tanks. We continued to go shopping for school clothes, picked up a baby gift for Elliana and a gift for Frankie, a couple of books for Bear, a stop for ice cream and a twirl around the carousel. A fun, full day with a friend and my favorite boy...
